In my photography, the journey just begins with the shutter of my camera opening and then closing. What I love and find even more satisfying than snapping a nice photo sometimes is being able to load up Photoshop, open the image I captured and manipulate away. To turn a "meh" image, to a "wow" image.
My general editing style is to keep the photo looking natural, but the best version, it could be. I want vibrant colors, I want contrast, I want the texture to be maintained, I want a good balance between the highlights and lowlights. Many photos have the potential to be very eye-catching, but in their raw form, or perhaps with a poor edit, they fall short.
Here are some of my favorite before and after photos that have been transformed with the power of Photoshop.
